Description
This exceptionally well-cared-for and updated Beneteau Gran Turismo 38 boasts of so many fantastic features, a summary just scratches the surface, but here goes: The patented Air-Step hull and 300 HP Volvo D4 diesels combine to give exhilarating performance and eye-popping efficiency – try a fast cruise of 36 MPH at 1.5 MPG (over 25% better than other similar express boats). A centerline helm with Joystick docking AND a bowthruster, as well as brand new Simrad NSS 12 EVO3S display, showing RADAR, GPS, Chartplotter, Sounder, Autopilot and the Simrad new, super-crisp screen. The luxe cockpit and helm deck feature great socializing and seating for 8 - 9, a motorized sunroof, Air Conditioning, a newer enclosure, and beautiful appointments (wet bar, fridge, more). Down below, there is abundant natural light, an aft full-beam stateroom, and a luxurious primary forward with a centerline pedestal berth. Where this vessel truly shines, literally, is in her mechanical spaces and equipment: New DHP drives ($38K)! Not only that, the engine room has been rearranged to ease access and maintenance tasks. All seals, O-rings, heat exchangers, pumps, belts – everything – is either new or refreshed, and this owner has the receipts and impressive ‘in-process’ photos to prove it. The engine room and drives look like a three month old boat from a fresh-water lake! Over $70K invested in the last 3 years. New batteries, new freshwater washdown forward, new sunroof motor, the list goes on and on… Simply put – this knowledgeable skipper is the one from whom you should be buying your next boat!

Aft of the galley, convenient to the companionway is the private head with new electric freshwater commode, sink and hot/cold shower.

The helm deck and cockpit are phenomenal, with a giant motorized sunroof, large al fresco dining area for 6 to 8, starboard side lounge, wet bar with fridge, and access to the swim platform. This area is air conditioned, and the newer enclosure features sun screens to knock down the sun load.
The safe and secure side decks lead forward to a sun pad covering the entire cabin top
Helm
A unique feature of this sport yacht is the centerline helm. It truly has the feel of a sports car, befitting of her performance and pedigree. Under the leading edge of the retractable sunroof, one dials in how 'in the elements' or protected the driver is. A combination of analog and digital gauges frame the new Simrad NSS 12 evo3 display for RADAR, Chart, GPS, autopilot, depth and more. Digital dedicated engine displays are next to the Volvo Penta Joystick and thruster controls. Thoughtful additions to this layout include hard wired helm fans, and a custom phone / tablet bracket for supplemental input and communications. Fusion stereo with 16 interior and exterior speakers, subwoofer, and Wet Sounds on the bow. Searchlight controls, electrical switches and the Simrad RS90 VHF radio complete one of the nicest 'drivers' helms' afloat.
