Description
1991 Monterey 65 Convertible Custom Sportfish "Emma Ruth"
Opportunities like this are exceptionally rare. “Emma Ruth,” a Monterey 65 Convertible Custom Sportfish originally known as the "Gina Lisa," has undergone extensive enhancements. Describing her updates as merely "substantial" wouldn't do her justice. Under previous ownership, she received significant upgrades, including new MTU engines, a mezzanine, teak accents, and a hardtop. The former owner, a custom home builder, meticulously stripped and modernized the boat, bringing it up to contemporary standards. This includes new electronics, an island-style galley, satin walnut cabinetry throughout, quartz countertops, and a reconfigured stateroom layout featuring a nearly full-beam master suite. Vessel Walkthrough
When you step aboard the Emma Ruth, the expansive cockpit gives the impression of a much larger vessel. It's beautifully finished with a teak sole, a Murray Brothers fighting chair, a luxurious air conditioned mezzanine, and in-deck refrigeration boxes. To port, you'll find the salon entrance featuring a Marine Power door. As you enter, you'll immediately notice the spacious, airy feel of the salon, with a galley that's both functional and elegant, boasting Quartz countertops and walnut cabinetry throughout.
The companionway leads you to the staterooms and laundry room. The master stateroom, located off to starboard, is nearly full beam and includes an island-style queen berth with storage underneath, a flat-screen TV, dual hanging lockers, built-in dressers with vanities, and a generously sized ensuite head with a large stall shower. The VIP stateroom, located forward in the bow, offers an island-style queen berth with storage below, a flat-screen TV, overhead storage lockers, dual hanging lockers, and its own head with a stall shower. Aft to port of the VIP, the guest stateroom features over-under bunks, a spacious hanging locker, ample under-berth storage drawers, and a flat-screen TV. The guest head, located aft of the guest stateroom, is equipped with large mirrored vanities and a stall shower.
On the flybridge, you'll find well-designed accommodations for both the captain and guests, including triple ladder-back helm seats and a generous wraparound L-shaped settee with a large teak table. The helm is outfitted with the latest electronics from Simrad, Icom, and Fusion. Engine room access is traditional with entry from the cockpit mezzanine while also having access through the galley sole.
